Get proactive, real-time monitoring for your MRI and avoid costly repairs and liquid helium fills. With our Remote Monitoring Unit (RMU), you can avoid the costs and downtime associated with catastrophic events like a quench or magnet warm-up, as well as the long-term costs of cryogen leaks that may otherwise go undetected.
Reduce downtime. Eliminate Helium Loss. Rest Easy.
With the RMU, you can rest assured that we’ve got you covered. From a customizable alerting structure to the constant, watchful eyes of our trained engineers, the entire system of your MRI is being monitored, even during weekends, after-hours, holidays, and pandemics.
- Customizable Alerting Structure: The RMU is integrated with a text alerting system that has customizable escalation paths. We’ve also included read receipts for accountability and the data minutes are stored in perpetuity.

How Does it Work?
We had a customer whose chiller went down on a Friday night around 6pm. Because they had the RMU installed, the monitoring system automatically generated an alert and we were able to reach out to the customer and let them know of the issue via text. The point-person didn’t respond within the allotted time-frame, and so the escalation increased and the alert was sent to the next person in the hierarchy.
Once notified, the customer was able to call a chiller company and get the part installed so they were back up and running within 24 hours. No downtime, minimal cost, and far less stress than if they were to return to work on Monday to discover a warmed up magnet and a major pending service bill.
